It is like expressing one's personal attachment to his own home. People come to IIT kharagpur for doing research and experience the mesmerizing feeling of the liveliness of B C Roy when they get the chance of stepping into the hall. People come out of the IIT after successful completion of their doctoral degree after three or four years of stay in B C Roy and go forward for their future endeavor. They become very happy and joyous; but suddenly they come to know that they will get separated from his own home; they feel uprooted,...isolated soul. But best thing happens once in one's life time and that makes the sense of being the proud resident of B C Roy Hall.

The way one behaves, the way one saturates himself into the different activities of the hall, the way one overwhelms with the outburst of joy with the success of the hall performances, the way one dips into sorrowness with the failure of the hall, all have had the uniqueness of their own. Morning starts with stinging morning alarm bell. After taking quick breakfast researchers go to their respective departments for day to day research works. They get assembled during the lunch time and they start flattering with their partners on the lunch table. Again they become busy with their work. They again meet each other during evening time in Swadesh and Khetu's canteens. Life starts pulsating in the hall premises. Lights are put on in the TV room, TT room, football ground, volley ground, badminton ground. Better way to cite it is  not as recreation of a research scholar. It is like gaining fresh energy for the night to work on. It is diner time now.

Its time to go back to the department to do tiring research work. But though it is tiring, it is certain that all have gained enough liveliness to work on and on and this is because of the sweet Medas touch of B C Roy hall. Love.....affection.....togetherness....there are so many words those could be said to express one's personal assessment of his connection to this hall. But this is certainly assured that every B C Rites feels extremely addicted to this hall.
