Apart from carrying out three main functions namely Rangoli and Illumination, Hall day and Drawing competition, we do organize many different activities. On 2nd October, on the birth day of our father of the nation, Gandhijee, all of us put our time to clean the hostel terrace. It is a part of our institute programmes.

We celebrate our independence day (15th August), republic day (26th January) and Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose's Birth day (23 January)  by hoisting our tri-color in front of the hall.

We worship Vidya Bharati (Shri Shri Saraswati) and all the boarders of the hall offer Puspanjali.

All the boarders become jubilant  during Holi time, the festival of colors. Everybody wears a colorful facial look with Faag. We do have a good lunch on that very occasion.

We organize one welcome ceremony to the new entries to the hall and bid our respect to the out-going fellow researchers by organizing a  farewell function. In addition to these, we use to have antaksari, quiz competition, debate, drama time to time.

So we not only do research, but organize different other activities. One thing is worth mentioning and it should never be forgotten that we always indulge ourselves  into ever green Bhat, a new form of chito-chat.
